Fairview Library has been making great strides with their gardening program! They are looking for volunteers to help collect pollinator data in The Great Georgia Pollinator Census.

What is The Great Georgia Pollinator Census?
A citizen science project created by the University of Georgia where Georgians count the insects that land on a chosen pollinator plant for 15 minutes and put the insects into one of eight categories (carpenter bee, bumble bee, honey bee, small bee, wasp, fly, butterfly/moth, or other insect).  The project designed for any Georgian to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation!

If you are interested in participating stop by during the census collection times and speak with the adult desk to let them know you want to help out!
