Come out to Fortson Library for Matinee Saturdays, a once-a-month program that shows a feature film and has a fun, related craft to do!

Showing: Selma (2014, PG-13)

Movie synopsis: The marches from Selma, Ala., to Montgomery to secure voting rights for black Americans are depicted in this docudrama set during the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, and which focuses on the actions of Martin Luther King Jr.

Craft: ‘Be the Change’ Map-on-Canvas

This event is for all ages: children, teens/young adults, and adults! Children under the age of 13 must have an adult with them at all times.
