Literary LEGO Challenge (McDonough Children’s Event)

Each month, McDonough Public Library has a LEGO challenge for children ages 5-12. They build something on the challenge topic, or free build. Those that build that challenge topic are placed on display in the Children’s Department so visitors to the library may vote for the remainder of the month. The winner is selected by the built design that gets the most votes. Winners receive a prize!

This month’s theme: Community Helpers (Books will be available to use as inspiration)

Please do not bring LEGOs from home. Library staff is not responsible for pieces that come from home. Children under the age of 5 are not allowed to use the small LEGOs as they are a choking hazard. Alterative building items available for children under the age of five upon request (please see the Children’s Desk prior to the event).
