Almost Adults (McDonough Young Adult/Teen Event)

An event every week that begins at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, repeating until July 20, 2022
This summer, McDonough Public Library’s Young Adult Department will have a weekly program for teens and young adults centered on life-skills that will help out on the journey into adulthood. Many of the programs will have guest speakers that will share knowledge about their field. Each session is set up with a round-table discussion, the ability for teens and young adults to ask questions and chat with one another.
June 8th: How to Apply for a Job & Resume Help
June 15th: How to: Online Careers
June 22nd: Banking 101 (checking accounts and writing checks)
June 29th: Outdoor Survival Skills
July 6th: College Cooking Basics
July 13th: Trades & Careers
July 20th: Applying to College & FAFSA Help
These events are intended to teens and young adults.
